2011 "So You Think You Can Cook" contest results
In each category, finalists were tasked with creating a dish in 20 minutes or less using only the ingredients provided, which were not revealed until the start of the finals. The creations were judged on taste, texture and presentation by a panel of culinary experts that included Executive Chef and owner of The Left Bank Restaurant, Chef David Albright; the Executive Chef of Hersheypark Entertainment Complex, Chef Charlie Gipe; chef-owner of Restaurant Sidney in East Berlin, Chef Neil Annis; and the Cooking School Coordinator at the Camp Hill GIANT Food Store, Chef Kathy Wickart.
Objective: Use the ingredients provided to prepare a skillet dish in 20-minutes or less that was judged by our panel of culinary experts. Ingredients were not revealed until the start of the on-stage portion of the contest.
